If you found this page at eleven at night, with a kid finally asleep and a knot in your stomach, you are in the right place.
You are not a failure. Your child is not broken. And the thing you're dealing with, whatever it looks like at your house, is not your fault.
I have that kid too. Holes in the walls, calls from the school, a voice in my head that said I was doing it all wrong. What changed our family wasn't a stricter chart or a better consequence. It was learning to see what was hiding behind the behavior.
That's what Calm the Chaos is. It starts from one idea: behavior is communication. Your child isn't giving you a hard time, they're having a hard time. Every plan we teach has the same four ingredients, You, Connect, Understand, Empower. You get steady first. You connect before you correct. You figure out what's underneath. Then you solve it together. There's a five stage roadmap from surviving the storm to a family that works together, and you begin wherever you actually are. One thing at a time.
You've got this. Truly.

I'm new. Where do I start?
Two good first steps. Pick the one that fits the energy you have right now.

Four questions we get every week
- My kid has autism, ADHD, and severe anxiety. I don't know if this will work for a kid like mine.
- That's the exact family this was built in. Dayna's son is the reason Calm the Chaos exists, and the plans were made for kids whose behavior doesn't fit the usual advice. They bend to your child's diagnosis and patterns instead of asking your child to bend to them.
- My kid is 15. Isn't this for younger children?
- No. We've supported families with kids as young as two and all the way into their early twenties. The framework adapts to your child's stage, and the teen years are some of the most common reasons parents find us.
- This seems geared towards moms. I'm a dad, a nanny, a grandparent, a teacher. Is it still for me?
- Yes. If you're the adult a child trusts, this is for you. Dads, grandparents, nannies, and teachers use it every day, and the plans work the same whether the kid is yours or one you care for.
- We're in Canada, Australia, the UK. Is the price in US dollars, and can I actually use this from here?
